Today, you will travel to Ninh Binh, your destination for the day. Your first stop will be Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Dai Co Viet, the historical name for Vietnam. Here, you will explore a site that has witnessed many significant events, including the unification of Vietnam after the "12 Lords Rebellion," conflicts with the Song dynasty, defense against ancient Cambodia, and the foundations that led to the formation of modern-day Hanoi.

After lunch, you will be rowed along the Ngo Dong River to visit Tam Coc, which makes for a truly unforgettable experience, passing between towering limestone peaks. Our driver will pick you up for your transfer to Halong Bay, a scenic journey through charming villages and lush fields of rice and vegetables. Upon arrival at Tuan Chau harbor, you will check in and board your cruise to begin your exploration of this World Heritage site. Enjoy a welcome drink as the cruise departs, allowing you to take in the stunning beauty of Halong Bay, featuring iconic limestone islands such as Dog Rock, Duck Rock, and the impressive Thumb Rock, which resembles a giant thumb rising from the water. Indulge in a lavish buffet lunch with a variety of dishes, including fresh seafood and traditional Vietnamese cuisine.

You will stop at Bo Hon Island to explore Sung Sot Cave, the largest and most beautiful cave in Halong Bay, after a short trek through the forest. Following your cave visit, the cruise will head to Luon Cave for about 30 minutes of kayaking. You'll then stop at Titov Island, where you can climb for a panoramic view of the bay. Back on the cruise, enjoy a Sunset Party with Vietnamese tea, coffee, fresh fruits, and snacks while taking in the scenery. You'll then overnight in Hoi An, heading back to the town in the afternoon to explore this UNESCO World Heritage site. You can visit the local market, wander through small alleys to see the Chinese Assembly Hall, the famous Japanese Covered Bridge, and Tan Ky Ancient House, all while immersing yourself in the charm of this unique port town. Today you will have a free day to relax on My Khe beach or explore the city by yourself.
