Day 1: Hanoi arrival - City Tour/The Past in the Present

Welcome to Vietnam! On your arrival in the Noi Bai International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and driver then transfer you to a local restaurant by noon.

In the afternoon

After recharging with lunch, you’ll first visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, which highlights the 54 officially recognized ethnic groups in Vietnam. Next, you’ll be transferred back to the Old Quarter to explore Hoan Kiem Lake, a serene spot in the bustling city. Finally, you’ll visit Dong Xuan Market, the largest wholesale market in the North. Established in the 1880s, this vibrant market serves as both a busy trade center for daily necessities and a historical landmark, reflecting the national defense history of Vietnamese soldiers and the pride of Hanoi residents.You will overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc

In the morning, your tour guide and driver will meet you at your hotel to begin your journey from Hanoi to Ninh Binh. Your first stop in this historic area is Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Dai Co Viet, the former name of Vietnam. As the center of the first fundamental government of Vietnam, Hoa Lu has witnessed many significant historical events, including the unification of Vietnam after the “12 Lords Rebellion,” conflicts with the Song dynasty, defenses against ancient Cambodia, and the eventual formation of modern-day Hanoi. This visit offers a fascinating glimpse into the rich history and cultural heritage of the region.

In the afternoon

After lunch, you’ll enjoy a serene rowing experience along the Ngo Dong River to visit Tam Coc, where you’ll glide between towering limestone peaks, creating a truly unforgettable adventure. Your tour will conclude around 16:30, after which you’ll be transferred back to your hotel in Hanoi. You will overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay - Hanoi

You’ll be picked up by our driver and transferred to Halong Bay, enjoying a scenic journey through charming villages and lush rice and vegetable fields. Upon arrival at Tuan Chau Harbor, you’ll check in and board the cruise, embarking on an exploration of this World Heritage site. As you enjoy a welcome drink, the cruise will set off to reveal the stunning beauty of Ha Long Bay, passing by iconic limestone islands such as Dog Rock, Duck Rock, and the impressive Thumb Rock, which rises majestically from the sea in the shape of a giant thumb, symbolizing good fortune. To enhance your experience, you’ll indulge in a generous buffet lunch featuring a variety of dishes, including fresh seafood and traditional Vietnamese cuisine.

In the afternoon

You’ll stop at Bo Hon Island to explore Sung Sot Cave, the largest and most beautiful cave in Halong Bay, where you’ll spend about 45 minutes marveling at its stunning chambers. Afterward, the cruise heads to Luon Cave for a 30-minute kayaking adventure. Then, you’ll visit Titov Island, where you can climb partway up the mountain for breathtaking panoramic views. Upon returning to the cruise, you’ll enjoy a Sunset Party with Vietnamese tea, coffee, fresh fruits, and snacks while relaxing on the sundeck or in the Jacuzzi. Finally, you’ll arrive at Tuan Chau Port and meet your driver for the return to your hotel.You will overnight in Hanoi.

Day 4: Hanoi free time – Flight to Danang - Hoian

Depending on your flight, our driver (no guide escort) will transfer you to Airport for your flight to Danang. On your arrival, warmest welcomed by our tour guide then transfer to your hotel in Hoian.You will overnight in Hoian.

Day 5: Cam Thanh coconut village – Hoian walking tour

Your day begins with a bike ride to Cam Thanh village. Upon arrival, you’ll board a boat to explore the Bay Mau coconut water forest, a lush area surrounded by mangrove forests and canals, where houses are topped with coconut leaves. You’ll have the chance to row basket boats with locals, immersing yourself in the serene beauty of the nipa palm forest. Don't forget to collect charming handmade souvenirs crafted from nipa palm leaves, like hats and rings. Afterward, you’ll enjoy a relaxing foot massage with medicinal herbs and participate in preparing a traditional Vietnamese lunch in local homes.

In the afternoon

After lunch, you’ll enjoy a short nap before learning how to harvest and wrap vegetables. In the afternoon, you’ll head back to Hoi An to explore this UNESCO World Heritage site. You’ll discover the many delights of Hoi An, from expert dressmakers who can create a custom outfit in just a couple of days to opportunities for dawn photography along the river. You can also visit the local market and stroll through charming alleys to see the Chinese Assembly Hall, the famous Japanese Covered Bridge, and Tan Ky Ancient House.
