Day 1: Hanoi arrival

Welcome to Vietnam! On your arrival in Hanoi airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and driver then transferred to your hotel in Hanoi. You will overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour
  • In the morning

Today, you will begin your exploration of Hanoi City. You will first visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, a monument honoring the great leader Ho Chi Minh, along with the nearby One Pillar Pagoda and his ancient house. After spending about two hours at these sites, you will continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university, dedicated to Confucius (Khong Tu).

  • In the afternoon

After enjoying a local lunch, you will head to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, which highlights the 54 officially recognized ethnic groups in Vietnam. You will spend about two hours exploring the museum before being transferred back to the Old Quarter to visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. Finally, you will enjoy a captivating water puppet show at Thang Long Theatre before returning to your hotel. You will overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi – Drive to Sapa - Ma Tra village

After breakfast at your hotel, our private car and guide will pick you up to start your journey to Sapa. You will enjoy a beautiful drive through small villages and along a mountainous route with stunning views of the valley. By around 1:00 PM, you will reach Sapa, where you will have lunch on your own account.

Let's begin to explore Sapa! You will walk through rice paddy fields and enjoy the spectacular scenery as you make your way to Ma Tra village, which is inhabited by the Black Hmong people. You will overnight in Sapa.

Day 4: Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai – Ta Van
  • In the morrning

This morning, you will start trekking down to Muong Hoa Valley. Along this route, your group will enjoy panoramic views of the town and the valley. After 4 km on the main road, you will begin descending to Y Linh Ho hamlet, a small village of the Black Hmong people, via small trails through terraced rice fields. From Y Linh Ho village, you will follow the river to Lao Chai village, where you can visit local families and learn about their culture, including traditional house-building and clothing-making techniques. Lunch will be served at a local family or restaurant.

  • In the afternoon

You will leave Lao Chai to continue to Ta Van village, home to the Giay people. Your guide will take you into some families where you can listen to their stories, enjoy green tea, and learn about the cultural differences between them and other nearby hill tribes. After visiting Ta Van, you will head up to the main road, where the car will pick you up to transfer back to Sapa. You will overnight in Sapa.

Day 5: Sapa – Fansipan – Drive to Hanoi

Today, let's begin your cable car journey to conquer the top of Fansipan. After completing the cable car trip, you will hike approximately 600 steps to reach the top of Fansipan, where you can enjoy breathtaking views from the highest peak of Indochina. Afterward, you will return to town and have lunch at your own expense.

You will return to Hanoi. You will overnight in Hanoi.

Day 6: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Hanoi

Our tour guide and driver will meet you at your hotel to begin your journey from Hanoi to Ninh Binh. Your first stop will be Hoa Lu, the historic capital of Dai Co Viet, where you will explore the site that played a crucial role in Vietnam's early government and witnessed significant events such as the union of Vietnam after the "12 Lords Rebellion," conflicts with the Song dynasty, and defenses against ancient Cambodia, all contributing to the formation of modern Hanoi.

After lunch, you will be rowed along the Ngo Dong River to visit Tam Coc, an unforgettable experience as you pass between towering limestone peaks. Enormous limestone karsts rise dramatically from the lush green rice fields, giving this stunning area its nickname, “Halong Bay on land.”. You will overnight in Hanoi.

Day 7: Hanoi – Halong bay/ Lan Ha bay

You’ll be picked up and transferred to Halong Bay/Lan Ha Bay, where you'll have the opportunity to experience the longest and newest bridge in Southeast Asia. Upon arrival, the crew members of Peony Cruise will welcome you at No. 34, Tuan Chau Marina, Quang Ninh.

  • In the afternoon

You’ll embark on our support vessel to reach the luxurious Peony Cruises, where you'll enjoy a welcome with fresh drinks and a special lunch featuring a variety of delicious delicacies while sailing through Lan Ha Bay, one of the World’s Most Beautiful Bays. Afterward, visit the Tra Bau area, known for its stunning natural beauty, where you can kayak and explore the limestone islands. Later, join a cooking demonstration to learn how to make Vietnamese spring rolls, or head to the top deck to admire the breathtaking sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. Don't miss the Happy Hour at the bar, perfect for capturing the picturesque sunset.

  • In the evening

You will enjoy delicious local food prepared and served by our skillful chef, creating a delightful meal in an intimate romantic setting. Afterward, you can relax and sip exotic cocktails and drinks at the sky bar (with surcharge) from 21:00 to 22:00. You have the option to indulge in a spa service or simply relax on the top deck under the beautifully illuminated sky. Alternatively, you can try your luck at squid fishing on the main deck. You will overnight on the cruise.

Day 8: Halong bay/ Lan Ha bay – Hanoi – Fly to Danang - Hoian

You will begin your day full of energy with a Tai Chi session, enjoying the sunrise beyond the horizon. Breakfast will be served while cruising back to Gia Luan jetty, with the timing possibly adjusted according to the itinerary. After breakfast, you will join a tour of the Cat Ba World Biosphere, taking a 30-minute transfer from Gia Luan to Trung Trang, one of the most impressive caves on Cat Ba Island, featuring thousands of stalactites and a unique cave ecosystem. After exploring the cave, you will return to the main boat to check out of your cabin, and lunch will be served at the restaurant. You will then disembark from Peony Cruises and be transferred back to Block #34, Big Bay group terminal at Tuan Chau Marina, where you can relax and wait for your luggage.

You will return to Hanoi for your flight to Danang. When you arrive at airport in Danang, our guide and driver pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Hoian. You will overnight in Hoian.

Day 9: Tra Que village - Hoian Walking tour
  • In the morning

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you will start riding your bicycle to Tra Que village, with a private car available if you cannot ride a bike. You will be introduced to the village's history, the cultivation of vegetables, and their use in traditional Vietnamese medicine. Then, you will take a trip around the vegetable garden and join the farmers in preparing the land, fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake. You will continue with activities such as raking, sowing, watering greens, and picking greens before spending the rest of the morning working the land in the traditional way. After finishing all the activities, you will take a break and prepare lunch with a local family. You will enjoy lunch in a local house featuring many delicacies, including Tam Huu spring rolls and Banh Xeo, the local pancake from the middle region.

At around 15:00, you will ride back to Hoi An town to start discovering this World Heritage site. You will be introduced to the many delights of Hoi An, from expert dressmakers and tailors who can craft a complete outfit for you in just a couple of days, to a dawn photo trip along the river. You can also enjoy a fun visit to Hoi An Local Market, followed by exploring small alleys to see the Chinese Assembly Hall, the famous Japanese Covered Bridge, Tan Ky Ancient House, and the Chinatown across the canal. As you wander through this unique port town, you’ll find yourself captivated by every corner. At around 17:00, the tour will come to an end, and you will have free time to explore on your own. You will overnight in Hoian.

Day 10: Hoian – Ba Na Hills – Danang city

After breakfast, you’ll meet our guide and hop into a private car to head to Ba Na Hills. You'll experience the most modern cable car in Southeast Asia, visiting the Dream Stream Cable Car Station for panoramic views of Quang Nam and Da Nang City. After the first cable car ride, you'll explore the iconic Golden Bridge, renowned for its unique design, and visit Le Jardin D’Amourn, featuring nine beautiful gardens, along with Linh Ung Pagoda. Then, you’ll take the second cable car to the French Village, where you can enjoy street music, admire art statues, and visit the Campanile and Nine Floor Goddess Shrine. Experience the popular Slide of Tube Car ride before enjoying a buffet lunch at the restaurant.

Participating in the Flower Festival at Ba Na Hills has become a cherished tradition, celebrating each season. After a delightful lunch, you’ll be invited to immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of thousands of flowers arranged into a stunning display at the main entrance, creating a captivating flower carpet in the Le Jardin D'Amour garden. While returning to Danang, you will be driving around Son Tra peninsula named as Monkey Mountain – the screen of Da Nang City. Here you will visit Linh Ung Pagoda, where exists the highest Goddess of Mercy Statue of Viet Nam. The pagoda offers stunning views of Danang beach and Cham Islands in the distance. You will overnight in Hoian.

Day 11: Hoian – Danang – Fly to Ho Chi Minh – Half day city tour

Depending on your flight time, your driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival at Ho Chi Minh Airport, your guide and driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel. You will have lunch at your own expense.

After lunch, your tour of dynamic Ho Chi Minh City begins with a visit to the Reunification Palace, known for its unique blend of traditional and modern architecture from the 1960s. You’ll then explore the Central Post Office, one of the oldest buildings in the city, which showcases a captivating mix of Gothic, Renaissance, and French colonial styles. Next, visit the War Remnants Museum, dedicated to showcasing the impacts of war in Vietnam through its thematic exhibits. If time allows, you’ll conclude your tour at Ben Thanh Local Market, a bustling hub during the day and a vibrant social center in the evening. You will overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh – Bentre – Ho Chi Minh

Your journey today will be in Ben Tre. You will be picked up at Phong Nẫm Bridge and can choose to cycle or ride in a moto-cart for 4.5 to 9 km, capturing photos of the monkey bridge and passing vegetable farms, coconut forests, and rice fields while chatting with local farmers. You will visit Phú Tự Temple and a coconut husking factory, learning about traditional processes like hand husking and coconut charcoal making, as well as a brick factory. After boarding a boat, you will cruise along the Chẹt Sậy River while tasting fresh coconut juice and seasonal tropical fruits. You will also visit a coconut candy workshop and taste deep-fried banana cake before taking a walk to a local restaurant for lunch featuring local dishes, followed by some time to relax in a hammock.

  • In the afternoon

You will take a moto-cart ride to the rowing pier, where you'll enjoy a boat ride through the water coconut canal. A car will pick you up at Nhà Việc Bridge, and you will return to the port to visit Ben Tre Local Market. Finally, you will head back to Saigon. You will overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 13: Ho Chi Minh - Cuchi tunnels – Food tour

Today you will visit Cu Chi Tunnels. The tunnels, famed for their 200-kilometer length, were an incredible underground network built by the Vietcong during the Vietnam War, providing a glimpse into Vietnam's wartime history and the fight against invaders. After exploring the tunnels, you will head to a local restaurant for lunch.

You will visit War museum, you will know more about the War in Vietnam.

  • In the evening

You will navigate the bustling streets, leaving behind tourist areas to discover local vendors where you can enjoy authentic Vietnamese pancakes while learning about their history and significance. Once you're satisfied, your guide will take you to a hidden coffee shop, where you'll taste traditional Vietnamese coffee made with a filter, offering a unique experience. Finally, you'll indulge in some delightful Vietnamese desserts, leaving you with a lasting impression of the local cuisine. You will overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 14: Ho Chi Minh Departure

Depending on your flight time, our driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the airport for your departure flight.
