Vietnam - America Travel Insights Workshop Recap

On Tuesday, May 21, 2024, we had the pleasure of hosting a dynamic group of 25 students from the #BSchoolTravel (University of Texas) at our workshop. The meeting kicked off with warm welcomes and introductions from Ms. Hien Ngo (Julie), Business Development Manager at Authentic Asia, and Mr. Henry Nguyen, Managing Director at Travel Sense Asia. Then, they shared an in-depth company overview, providing the attendees with a comprehensive look at the company brands, capabilities, and key suppliers.

We discussed the latest trends and demographics in the Vietnamese tourism industry, emphasizing Vietnam's growing reputation as a prime destination for #MICE. Key cities such as Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Phu Quoc were highlighted as top locations for hosting large-scale events, thanks to their modern infrastructure, vibrant culture, and diverse attractions.

One of the event's highlights was examining American travellers' travel habits to Vietnam, highlighting their patterns and preferences, which provided valuable context for the students and faculty members, enriching their understanding of the industry.
